What topics can you teach or speak on?

Bill specializes in anything that involves on-site printing but he also has a passion for lighting and film photography.  On-site printing can involve anything from green screen photography to photo booths to onsite portraits.  He is always happy to share his knowledge of proper lighting for any situation, posing and overall studio layout.  Bill currently teaches one class every year on shooting, processing and printing your own black & white film. 

What are your speaking and teaching fees?

Speaking fees depend on the nature of the talk, the length and other logistics and external fees, such as hiring models or location fees.  Please contact us for a detailed quote.

What sort of events do you speak at?

Bill speaks at nationwide conventions such as ImagingUSA, Photo Booth Expo and Wedding MBA as well as smaller local guild meetings, schools and private interest groups. Speaking engagements during the educational part of a convention are usually 1-2 hours and will be tailored towards the needs of the attendees.  Bill also offers 1/2 day, full day and 2-day classes that can be scheduled in conjunction with related trade shows and conventions as well as independently.

Do you teach general photography classes?

Yes!  This is one of Bill's favorite things to do.  He is available to teach individual or small group classes for both adults and children - please contact us for more info.

Do you bring your own equipment or do we need to provide it?

Do you do demonstrations during your talks?

If the nature of the talk and the timing & location allows, we always prefer to do demonstrations if it will help.  For example, if we are doing a talk on event photography it is very beneficial for the audience to see how we set up our lighting, interact with the client and use our production software to print photos at high volume events.  We understand that some shorter talks just won't work with demonstrations so we always create a slideshow to accompany the talk.
